Ref: 882497 – Interim Clinical Project Manager

Our client based in Central London is recruiting for an Interim Clinical Project Manager to work on advanced therapy studies from initiation through to closeout. The successful individual will ensure that all project management and project deliverables are completed on time and within budget and in accordance with SOPs, policies and practices. The role will highlight any risks, slippages and obstacles with plans to mitigate any issues.

  • Responsible for supporting Research & Development (R&D) projects and managing appropriate records
  • Responsible for outsourced vendor management oversight and invoicing
  • Communicate timelines with all team members and any issues to ensure efficient production, scheduling and delivery of project.
  • Ensure good communication, organisational planning and all experimental work completed accurately and appropriately written up and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Highlight potential risks, and actual issues with quality, budget or timelines to the senior leadership team.
  • Facilitate continual improvements to internal processes to improve efficiency.
  • Meet agreed key performance indicators for site, quality and business group objectives.
  • Work with project team and senior leadership team to successfully complete R&D projects to required timescales and budget.
  • Co-ordinate outsourced vendor agreements and costings.

Requirements include:
  • Understand and adhere to the principles of ICH GCP and regulatory requirements in both the EU and US
  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in a Biological Science discipline.
  • Proven experience of running projects in the gene therapy or advanced therapies arena.
  • Significant experience of working in a translational clinical research environment.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and yet have strong interpersonal skills to influence; communicate and manage change.

Location: London
Duration: 3 months initially (based onsite in the London Offices)
